Dear Eden Prairie residents,

First, I’d like to congratulate Jenifer Loon on running an excellent campaign. She obviously said what the majority of voters needed to hear and I wish her success in her upcoming term. I may not agree with many of her ideas but I believe she has the best interests of Eden Prairie and Minnesota at heart.

I want to thank all of you who honored me with your vote. That’s a serious trust and I take that to heart, even though I won’t be representing you. I’m honored and humbled by your support.

I want to give a huge “thank you” to everyone who worked so tirelessly day after day on this campaign. Thanks to you we ran a great race. I’m in your debt, each and every one of you.

Here’s hoping that Jenifer Loon and the rest of the 2008 state legislature can put aside the ridiculously petty politics of years past and forge intelligent coalitions that produce positive results for our state and our community. Our hopes are with you all.
